Welcome to my notebook! My name is Erin and I live in San Francisco. I spend most of my time doing research as a biochemist, but I’ve recently started applying some of my lab skills to the science of baking. Using both precision and creativity, baking allows me to combine often very simple ingredients to create diverse, and sometimes complex, textures and tastes. Not only that, who doesn’t love baked goods? I certainly do. And so do all my friends and family, so why not make everybody happy and just bake something already?
